The Durham Light Infantry (DLI) was an amalgamation of two regiments; the 68th and 106th of Foot. |

The Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry (DCLI) was an amalgamation of two regiments; the 32nd and 46th Foot. |

The King’s Shropshire Light Infantry (KSLI) was formed in 1881 by the amalgamation of the 53rd (Shropshire) Regiment and the 85th King’s Light Infantry |

The Regiment was raised in 1860 as the 1st Administrative Battalion, the Herefordshire Rifle Volunteers. In 1881, the Regiment became a Volunteer Battalion of the KSLI. |

The King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry (KOYLI), formerly the 51st Regiment, was raised in the West Riding of Yorkshire in 1755 and has had the strongest possible association with that area ever since. |
